Rare American Silver Coffeepot by Elias Boudinot
Tucked in at the base, with ebonized wood handle and cast spout; engraved with the arms of the Philadelphia branch of the Clay family; marked multiple times around the rim.
Boudinot was the father of the President of the First Continental Congress. He worked primarily in Princeton and Philadelphia.
