INTERNATIONAL STERLING SILVER MARTINI GLASS, A. LA PAGLIA, DESIGNER; No. 13074/4
Alphonse La Paglia, who had been a designer for Georg Jensen, became an independent designer of silver holloware in the 1950's. He did a number of designs for International in Danish style.

RARE PALA DYNASTY CARVED STONE IMAGE OF PRAJNAPARAMITA
A fragmentary but expressive image of the goddess, Perfection of Wisdom displaying the teaching mudra; flanked by lotus stalks, and with a flying apsara above. The style is characteristic of Bihar or Bengal towards the end of the Pala period. Unmounted.
