Chinese Export Cabbage Pattern Covered Vegetable Dish
Rectangukar, with chamfered corners, decorated overall with butterflies amidst the leaves, the interior also colorfully decorated.
Original lid and in fine condition but for some rubbing of the gilding at the rim and the knop; a desirable example of this uncommon pattern.   China. mid-19th century. 9 1/4" x 7 3/4" x 5"H.
Fine Dutch Delft Blue and White Charger by "The Greek A"
Painted in the manner of Chinese Kraak export porcelains, with expressive and unusual motif seeming to represent an ichneumon attacking a grasshopper(! ) amidst fanciful vegetation and within a paneled border containing objects.of good fortune.
