The star inlaid hood with swan's neck crest enclosing a white painted and gilt decorated dial, and original eight day brass movement striking on a bell;, above a waist section with well figured arched door, all supported on French feet joined by a shaped skirt. This clock has a history of ownership in Warwick, N.Y. and relates to a clock in the New York State Museum made by Wood and Taylor, working in Florida N.Y. near Warwick. America. c. 1800. 94" H.
