A Pair of Renaissance Lead Votive Plaquettes
One with the image of St. Matthew; the other of St. Thaddeus. Both have original pigment, almost complete in the case of the Matthew plaque; both holed for hanging. Probably German.   c. 1550.
Fine Copper Engraved and Dated Lidded Jug
With bulbous body, short spout, and strap handle; decorated overall with palmettes, symbols and allegorical figural representations, and stamped with a crown above a letter S. The jug is dated in elegant style on the base.   Netherlands?. 1763. 7 1/2" H.
