Fine Dutch Delft Blue and White Charger by "The Greek A"
Painted in the manner of Chinese Kraak export porcelains, with expressive and unusual motif seeming to represent an ichneumon attacking a grasshopper(! ) amidst fanciful vegetation and within a paneled border containing objects.of good fortune.
The back carries the mark of "The Greek A" factory, well known for wares of high quality.
The condition is very good: no cracks or repairs, and with minor fritting apart from two rim chips as illustrated. Netherlands. 3rd quarter 18th century. 13 1/2" D.
